We’ve decided to run a 10k to raise money for the charity Mind. We’re doing it to support any man who is suffering and is too afraid to speak up.

Male suicides account for almost three quarters of all suicides so we’re doing our bit to try and lower that number by encouraging all men to open up more.

Recently someone close to us saw suicide as his only way out, thankfully he was not successful in his attempt and is now opening up about what’s on his mind. Having it so close to home has made us realise we need to do as much as we can to encourage all men to speak up about what’s on their mind.
