Story
We are a group of apprentices and and graduate students within the Civil Service looking to beat the Million Makers Challenge 2020.
Million Makers is The Trust's flagship entrepreneurial challenge, which sees teams of employees, from companies across the UK, competing to turn £1,500 into at least £10,000 or more.
In the face of COVID-19 young people need support more than ever. COVID-19 has had a drastic impact on the lives and futures of young people, with 46% saying that finding a job during this period has been impossible and 43% indicating their anxiety has increased drastically. These statistics are then compounded by charity sector facing an estimated £4 billion loss in the next quarter as a result on the ongoing pandemic
All funds raised will be donated to The Prince’s Trust who work to transform the lives of young, vulnerable people by helping them to gain confidence, develop skills, and, ultimately, ensuring they have the ambition, tools and opportunities to build fulfilling, sustainable futures.
How will your donations help?
• £3 could buy the course materials needed to teach a young person the basics of starting a life changing business
• £15 could pay for a young person’s maths qualification
• £100 could fund a two hour session that helps a young person overcome self-destructive behaviour.
• £250 could support a young person struggling at school to finish their education by attending an after-school club
• £1,000 could fund a day of speed interviews, getting thirty five young people in front of life changing opportunities with potential employers
• £4,500 could unlock confidence and self-discipline in seven young people on a twelve week personal development course
• £9,000 could get five young people from a chaotic background the skills to thrive with a two week course that will help them stabilise their lives, and get them ready to succeed.
Will you help to change young peoples lives forever?
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank You :)
