Story
December 2024 we lost our brother to suicide, he was loved beyond words, and not just by family everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him loved him and his crazy personality!! He was one of a kind, always the loudest and funniest person in the room but he struggled and didn’t get the help he needed!
Any loss is devastating but losing someone to suicide is a whole different pain, there’s so many why’s, what ifs and wishing things were different, wishing you could have done more and sadness that it came to someone feeling so low and that there was no other way!
we’re doing this in memory of our brother but to also help others so no one has to lose their life or family and friends to suicide.
We’re starting with a small challenge and even if we raise just a small amount I hope it will help at least one person!; we are also doing it for those who have lost someone they love to suicide and won’t talk to friends and family but may make use of services provided to talk about how they’re feeling.
I know not everyone can donate but even just sharing information on services available may help those around you that you don’t know are struggling 💙💙
Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm doing 62 Miles in March for Campaign Against Living Miserably and your contribution will make an impact, Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living.
Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. CALM exists to change this - by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together to reject living miserably.
