1 in 10 children will be victims of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday. Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County expanded to providing services to Wise County in 2020, and is currently providing services at the temporary location at the Community Church in Decatur.

The Center coordinates the investigation and prosecution of severe child abuse cases and provides gold-standard mental health care at no charge.

Having an office in Wise County alleviates a huge burden for victims and our investigative partners - local law enforcement and CPS. Now, they can receive all the same services as clients in Denton County without having to drive to our Denton or Lewisville offices.
