Story
Warwick Half Marathon? Go on thennn! I'm running the Warwick Half on the 4t February, and I'm doing it for a couple of reasons; mainly so Geez could get cheaper entry so he could run it in about 5 minutes but also to raise money for two causes that mean alot to me.
I lost my Mum & Dad to cancer when I was younger, and ever since Blood Cancer UK have been there every step of the way offering support to me and my family - they are an amazing charity doing research into cancers which are often misunderstood and sadly, incurable. They're working hard to change that.
Another cause close to my heart is the work of CCLG, which is the charity I used to be a researcher for. They do so much great research into children's cancer, and play such a vital role both in the lab and the bedside. The team at Newcastle University work tirelessly to improve the outcomes and prognosis for children and young adults, and give so much hope to the families of children who are going through this horrible disease.
Any donations are welcome, or even just a good luck message to get me over the line! Thank you!
