Story

GroceryAid provides emotional, practical and financial support for everybody who works in the grocery industry and has been doing so since 1857.

The Charity has been at the heart of the food & drink industry for over 160 years supporting colleagues through challenges and is overseen by 14 Trustees who are responsible for the legal and statutory compliance and the development and growth of the Charity.

As a Trustee, Dawood is committed to the Charity and the fundraising it needs, in order to continue to support the people in the Industry.

The Coast to Coast is a 3 day cycling challenge from the beautiful Georgian coastal town of Whitehaven to the seaside resort of Whitby passing through the stunning Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales as well as the Victorian Spa town of Harrogate.

Dawood commented, "I have taken part in four of these challenges in the past and I am doing it yet again! It is gruelling but hugely rewarding".

Dawood Pervez, Russ Powell, Rob Chisholm and Daniel Forth are delighted to be taking part to support the Charity that genuinely makes a massive difference to people's lives in our sector.

Your support is crucial to our ongoing efforts to raise funds and every donation is valuable.
