David and I are running a half marathon in memory of David’s Dad Colin. He died at home with us in Aug 2023 from cancer. In his last few weeks Marie Curie provided us with some much needed overnight respite care. All the carers were so lovely, kind and caring to Colin. We felt that we wanted to do something that provided us with a challenge and would raise some money for charity.

We have embarked on a lengthy training programme signed off by our personal trainer Cam so that not only can we actually run 13.1 miles but that we enjoy it.
