Story
As you may know our son and brother, Sean Davies, was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour back in August 2024.
For those of you who know Sean, this came as a massive shock to not just him and his family but all who know him. Sean is a fit 34 year old who prides himself on his fitness and looking after himself.
Sean was due to go on a planned trip away for a friends stag do and collapsed whilst having breakfast, he was sent to A&E where following tests and scans he was told that he had a Brain Tumour.
This news has been very difficult for Sean to come to terms with as overnight it's put a hold on Sean's career, his ability to drive and put a stop on his football career.
Sean has recently had surgery to remove as much as the Tumour as they can and is now focusing on his recovery.
He still requires tests to be conducted and will be monitored over the next few weeks and months but thankfully at this moment in time he is doing well and focusing on his recovery and getting back to living his normal life.
We as a family saw this challenge and wanted to do all we can for Brain Tumour Research so have decided to test ourselves and complete our individual challenges and raise as much money and awareness for this charity.
Beat the cold this November to help us fund the fight against brain tumours.
Brand new for 2024, 99 Miles in November is an exciting challenge which you can complete at your own pace. You choose how to make the journey – walk, jog, run, cycle, swim or you could even take part on horseback.
