There's something for everyone in The Big Golf Race. Choose from the Half Marathon (2 rounds, 36 holes, 13 miles in a day), the Marathon (4 rounds, 72 holes, 26 miles in a day) or even the Ultra Marathon (5.5 rounds, 100 holes, 35 miles in a day).

Story

On the 13th July, 8 of us took on the "Big Golf Race" marathon challenge at Great Yarmouth & Caister golf club playing four rounds in one day.

Starting at 05:00 we finally finished at 19:30 completing the four rounds of golf. Weather was kind for the challenge most of the day, up until the last 2 holes when the rain came down in bucket loads.

A massive thank you to all those that have sponsored the "Dads Army" team prior to the day and on the day itself, and to those that came along and supported us on the day at the golf club to raise money for a fantastic charity.

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, brothers, partners, grandads, mates, sons and uncles, but it doesn't have to be this way.

Your donation will help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner. Thank you for your support.
