Team Cornerstone is made up of three of our wonderful volunteers Jacek, Richard and Maureen.

Richard (pictured above) started coming to Cornerstone 6 years ago when he was experiencing homelessness. He soon started to volunteer and has continued to do so on and off for the past few years. He says:

"Since I've started back, it's really helped me a lot. It's built my confidence in engaging and building relationships with people. It's been a life saver"

Maureen started volunteering in 2018 after recently retiring from teaching, and says:

"I was looking for a volunteering role that would make me happy and give me the opportunity to make a small difference. Cornerstone is a special place, I love being a part of the Cornerstone family, greeting regulars and interacting with a fantastic team of volunteers."

Every penny you donate will help Caritas Homelessness Services in Bury, Manchester, Blackburn and Bolton. Funds will ensure that people have the support they need to prevent them from becoming homeless, that people who do become homeless are helped to secure safe accommodation with the support they need to make a new home, and that no one has to sleep rough.
