Story
To help us keep this fair and make sure the donations are split as evenly as possible between the two charities, please select the team member that has the least donations when choosing where to make your donation.
Celebrating five years in business for Confident Cashflow by having a Charity Birthday Party!
For those that can't make the party, there is the option to make a donation instead.
We would like your donations to be split as equally as possible across two charities close to my (Nicki's) heart, Swindon Music Trust and Parkinson's UK.
Swindon Music Trust
I grew up in the days when learning a musical instrument was relatively easy, with instruments and lessons provided by the county for free. These days tuition needs to be paid for, which can seriously restrict access for many families.
Music is such a fundamental part of who I am. It's what I turn to when I need to decompress, settle my mind, or feel part of something bigger, and I believe everyone should have access to that outlet.
By supporting Swindon Music Trust, we are helping those who would otherwise miss out on music education in the Swindon & Wiltshire area.
Parkinson's UK
My Dad was my role model and my inspiration. It's because of him that I chose a career with numbers. To watch my hero become gradually unrecognisable from the man who ran his own business, was captain of the Golf Club, local Councillor, and later, Mayor as the symptoms of Parkinson's ravaged his body was a heart-breaking and sometimes terrifying experience.
Around 145,000 people live with Parkinson's in the UK. It's the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and there is currently no cure.
By supporting Parkinson's UK, we can help speed up the search for a cure.
