We support families of children with cancer to make sure that no one fights alone
Story
On April 26th, 2025, my husband Chris, our 8-year-old son Alfie, and I will be walking up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) to raise money for Morgan’s Army Charitable Foundation in memory of my Dad, Ian Miller – Alfie’s beloved Grandad, who passed away in June 2020.
This climb means so much more to us than just a challenge; it’s a heartfelt way to honor my Dad’s memory. At the summit, we’ll be at the closest point to heaven, a place where we can feel him with us. To make this journey even more special, we plan to leave a painted rock at the summit in his memory. It was a climb Dad always dreamed of doing. He was a keen walker all his life, and once tried to reach the top with my sister Zoe, but they only made it halfway.
Morgan’s Army are hosting this challenge, and it feels so right to give back to them. We’re raising funds to support their incredible work, and we need your help to reach our £250 target. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in supporting families facing a cancer diagnosis in a child or young person. As a trustee for the charity, I’ve seen firsthand the vital support they provide, ensuring no one fights alone.
Morgan's Army is a charitable foundation, pledging to support families of children diagnosed with cancer in South Wales through helpful initiatives and supporting major projects of children's cancer charities in South Wales.
