I found out I have a Grade 4 Brain Tumour 2 years and 3 months ago. I was just 34 at the time with a one year old son. I was given 2-3 years to live. I am not alone in diagnosis and poor prognosis. My grandad died of the same cancer on bonfire night in 2022.

At times I have mourned my previous life, reflecting on all I have lost, but Teddy has kept me going. He forces me to get up in the morning and to keep fighting. I have looked at alternative treatments but I am unable to afford them, e.g. £150,000 for immunotherapy. I suspect I am not the only person who cannot pay for alternative treatments. I hope that in the future our government will fund more research for brain tumours. I hope another therapy will be found soon to prevent so much heartache and pain.
