Story

We have been members of the Autism Resource Central for 20 years. Our family is who we are today because of the care and support of our autism community. This year we began a monthly movie social night for teens with the Center, as well as benefitted from a grant for an occupational mentor for Liam to learn job search skills. Every year our needs and contributions to the community change; but every year the Center has been integral to our lives.

Clan McDonald:

Patrick: Dad and co-chair of the Run/Walk Committee,

Mia: Mom and Chair of the Center Advisory Board

Liam: Age 22, attending QCC and working part time at Price Chopper

Helena: Age 19, Vet Tech at a local Vet Hospital

Steve: Age 17, Junior in the electrical program at Worcester Tech, wrestler and rugby player

Fionn: Age 14, Freshman at South High, wrestler, football player, rugby player and boy scout.

Eamon: Age 12, Grade 7 at Goddard Scholars Academy, rugby player and boy scout

We appreciate your support in helping our family and all families in Central MA.
