Team Claire Newman are taking part in Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 8th October 2023.

Following a chat with Guy, and then mentioning an idea to a few friends, before we knew it, Team Claire Newman became 15 people and we are aiming to raise lots of money for Pancreatic Cancer UK by running the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.

We test-ran our Team Vests at the Oxford Town & Gown 10K on Sunday 14th May and were delighted that Juliet Owens joined us too. We were out in force again at the Harvest Trail Quarter Marathon on Sunday 17th September. Thank you Team Claire Newman ❤️

Today was a day of mixed emotions with Team Claire Newman and our supporters. We were blessed with sunshine and wonderful friendship in the Royal Parks as we ran past London's most famous landmarks in memory of beautiful Claire. We hope to reach £20K for Pancreatic Cancer UK once all donations reach our JustGiving team page ... and it is never too late for any final donations ❤️
