Team BEAR's fundraising for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025 · 26 April 2025 to 27 April 2025 ·

Time to look out the tartan for the 2025 Glasgow Kiltwalk! Kiltwalk is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event with over 172,000 people taking part since 2016.

Story

On Sunday 27th April, the staff at BEAR’s Chryston Depot will be donning our tartan for the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025. The Team, consisting of Laura Gray, Marc Mitchell, Adam Stewart, Tom Barnes, Iain Houston and David Paton, will walk the 22.7 miles between Glasgow Green and Balloch, with all team members keen to raise as much money as possible for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity (Yorkhill). The GCHC is a charity hospital particularly close to Adam in the team, with the hospital providing excellent care over the last year or so for Adam’s young son Blake. We are hoping to raise as much money for the Schiehallion Ward within the hospital to in some way give back to them for the amazing service they have given to Adam and his family. Any donations big or small would be much appreciated, and will help to ensure the team at GCHC continue to provide much needed assistance to families across Scotland.
