Team fundraising for The Salvation Army

Raising money for The Salvation Army

With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

Story

Think about what it feels like when you first step outside in the morning and how cold it is now, with the end of November in sight. Can you imagine sleeping outside in temperatures below zero? How tough must that be for a human being! And why should any human being have to struggle like that? Homeless people need all the help they can get and that is why I am organising this special Christmas dog walk on Sunday, December 22 with a swap of Christmas bakes to follow after! Next time you walk through your door into the cold, think about what Christmas is really all about - giving. It would be great if you could join us! Suggested donation is £11 per person and the location will be confirmed closer to the date! Please feel free to join us even without a dog :) As for the bakes, please bring a tub of your creations as well as an empty tub to fill up with a variety of goodies everybody else will have made! Thank you!
