The Wissahickon Valley Parks 50+ miles of trails are always there for you, and after months of staying inside, it's more inviting than ever. Go the whole distance - while staying socially distanced, of course - and support the park at the same time!

Story

Nick and Lindsey, owners of Chestnut Hill Brewing, love hiking, running, and biking in the Wissahickon. Their newfoundland mascots, Barley and Hopz, love hiking in the Wissahickon too and they look forward to their daily walks there. We want to help fundraise so the Wissahickon can continue to be well-maintained and provide a source of joy for people from Philadelphia and other nearby areas. Now, more than ever, it is crucial for people to have a place to be outdoors!

About the charity

Founded in 1924, FOW is an 3,000+ member nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to restore historical park structures, eliminate invasive plant species, monitor watershed management issues, and restore trails throughout Wissahickon Valley Park.
