Chesham Firefighters, Chesham 2 Brighton Cycle Ride

Raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity

London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2021 · 19 September 2021 ·

We provide life-enhancing support to the UK's fire & rescue community.

Story

Since the pandemic, the Firefighter charity has suffered heavily from receiving any donation. Our fire and rescue services are there for us every hour of every day and that hasn't changed during the pandemic. With your support we can be there to help them when they're in need.

None of us here at the station are cyclist and have never cycled 10k let alone 100k, however we had to do something to support this charity we feel so strongly about. We wanted to do something meaningful, something extraordinary, something we will have to train hard for and push our boundaries like never before.

Which is why the crew at Chesham Firefighters will be cycling from Chesham to Brighton. We will be heading off at the break of light around 05:00 to ride to London where the rest of the riders will be. We will then make our way to Brighton with the rest of the London to Brighton riders. A total of 135km.
