It's time for the annual Legal Food Frenzy! The legal frenzy has produced more than 20 million pounds of food donation for hungry families to date. We are once again raising funds and food for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Thank you for joining us to support our neighbors!

1 in 6 Adults and 1 in 4 children suffer from food insecurity. Did you know that every 73 cents helps provide a meal? So how far does my money go? For every $10 donated the Foodbank can provide up to $60 worth of grocery products for those in need. $50 = 68 meals, $75 = 102 meals, $100 = 136 meals

How Can I help? You can make a financial contribution on this page by clicking Give Now or by check*. Additionally, you can bring non-perishable, unexpired donations of foods, personal hygiene items, and baby products to City Hall and drop them off in the box in the lobby (see the shopping list below).

*Checks should be made payable to: Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia or FSEVA, must be received by May 4 and include our team’s name, “Chesapeake City Attorney’s Office,” on the memo line. They can be sent directly to the Foodbank (800 Tidewater Dr., Norfolk, VA 23504) or dropped off during Check-In Days. Please put them to Priscilla Weddle's attention.
