Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the Team Page for... "The Big Drive!!"
My name is Andy, I'm 55 and have MS. This is the adventure of a lifetime for me to drive the North Coast 500 and then the coast (ish) of Britain to raise money for three fantastic charities: The Equity Charitable Trust, MS Trust and Scottish Autism!
Scottish Autism are the biggest provider of autism services in Scotland! They run the New Struan School where the needs and skill sets of autistic people are catered for and nurtured. What an achievement! (With autism in the family, I may be a little biased... a little).
MS Trust organis and provide, among other things, tailored training and support for MS Nurses and MS Champions who coordinate services and care for people with MS. (Biased again? Maybe.)
Last but not least, the Equity Charitable Trust. They fill a much needed roll, where people who for any reason need to leave the enetertainment industry, with grants to retrain and stay active members of society. They also provide hardship grants and recentky added fuel poverty to the qualifying criteria. (Disclaimer, I was inviolved in entertainment many moons ago, and they still stepped in and helped me when I needed an orthopaedic bed, so further evidence of total bias).
Please join me on the adventure, tell all your friends, like and subscribe to the Youtube channel (they only allow you to add clickable links to the videos after you have 500 subscribers, and a link to this page from the video would be a lot clearer than from in the video description.)
