Team Chaplaincy, lead by our Lead Chaplain Lucy McGrath and East Sussex Chaplain Elly along with some of our residents from East Sussex and Guildford are taking part in the YMCA DownsLink Challenge and helping to tackle youth homelessness.

YMCA DownsLink Group is a charity that works to prevent youth homelessness across Sussex and Surrey. Every night, they provide accommodation to more than 750 young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, as well as helping give them the skills they need to create a brighter, independent, future.

The young people we have in our team are just some of the amazing people we have a chance to meet at our various chaplaincy sessions and we are hoping their enthusiasm will carry us through the 17.5 mile stroll!

£10 could buy an emergency overnight package for a young person in temporary accommodation
£20 could provide a homeless young person a bed for the night
£50 could provide a life skills training session
