THANK YOU for your generosity and kindness in 2020!!!

Last year was hard for everyone. For me, and Andy (my husband), the battle with ME continued. Progress was slow, but there was progress - I’m rarely in pain now, and am out of bed enough to be with Andy, the girls, and walk the dog. I’m so grateful to do these things each day that I can.

I'm so very grateful - more than I can get across in an email - for your generosity and kindness in donating to Action for ME. You donated over £4,500!!! Thank you!! These donations will make a big difference to people whose lives have been limited and/ or devastated by ME and at a critical time when Covid spreads this incurable illness to millions more.

I am also thankful for your many lovely messages, including those acknowledging the additional suffering of ME/ CFS patients, made sicker by misdiagnoses, stigma, and poor quality/ non-existent medical care. Greater awareness of this suffering gives hope things may improve.

And where to start with those who bravely undertook a ME challenge for me this year?! AMAZING!! I’m still overwhelmed by your love, care, generosity and commitment. When I think what else to say, I cry and words elude me once again. You are angels in this world. THANKYOU!

Looking ahead to 2021....

2021 offers new hope for most but also means continuing personal battles and fights for many. We wish we could do more to help others, and are with you in spirit. Your courage and resilience is an inspiration.

Whatever 2021 brings to you all, we hope you are blessed, as we are, with the most wonderful family and friends - the most precious gifts of all.
