**UPDATE** We made it! 37 riders made it in 4 days - 665k and 6551 meters of elevation. Brutal headwinds, viciously steep ramps, a difficult 'road' surface but we got through as a team.

Story

For those who don’t know, Secondary breast cancer is cancer that has spread beyond the breast and nearby lymph nodes to other parts of the body. It remains the second leading cause of death for women with cancer and there are around 55,900 new breast cancer cases in the UK every year.

One More City is an annual cycling campaign that moves from city to city, starting from where the previous year’s ride has finished and since 2017, OMC has completed seven rides, through six countries, raising nearly £400,000. What’s unique about this charity and why we are huge supporters is that the funds raised goes directly towards funding Phd students towards clinical research into secondary breast cancer, and you get to directly see where the benefit that your sponsorship contributes towards.

On September 26th we have 6 CGC members taking part in OMC and they will begin the journey of cycling from Venice to Rome, across 4 days with an average daily distance at 175km and 2000m of elevation. It’s never an easy journey, but it’s very rewarding and your support in all forms is greatly appreciated!

Thank you
