Story
ISF are a small, family owned process engineering company established in 1989 by our Managing Director Iain Scott. This year we are very proud to be celebrating 35 years of ISF, and as part of the celebrations we are fundraising for some very important charities.
Over the last 3 and a half decades ISF have travelled the length and breadth of the country delivering process engineering solutions to our customers in animal feed mills throughout the UK. In honour of this commitment, we have organised our first challenge: Starting on the 13th of May, the ISF team will collectively cycle the equivalent of John O’Groats to Lands End, by exercise bike from our very own York workshop. A grand total of 874miles. The aim is to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In September, a group of our team are facing an entirely different challenge: The Yorkshire Three Peaks! A gruelling 24.5 mile hike of the 3 major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales: Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. The walk includes 5000ft of vertical ascent and is to be completed in under 12 hours, and will be raising funds for St Leonards Hospice in York.
These challenges are no small feat, but as a team, we are determined to push ourselves to raise vital funds for two incredible causes that are extremely close to all of our hearts.
Thanks for supporting our fundraising.
