We tackle book poverty to support wellbeing & improve outcomes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, and supporting our efforts to raise funds for the Children's Book Project.

This is the third year that Cisco UKI Connected Black Professionals is supporting the charity. This year Kedian Goode, Joy Aboim and Diana Cockrane-Hall are donning our trainers.

The Children's Project is an amazing organisation whose mission is to tackle child book poverty. It strives to give every child the opportunity to own a book of their own. In the past five years the wonderful CBP volunteers have given away over 1 million books through schools, prisons and other outreach activities.

It is a privilege to be part of something that changes young lives by developing imagination, building self esteem and growing knowledge through the joy of book ownership and reading.

Please spare whatever you can, to support this excellent work - thank you!

Diana, Kedian and Joy xx

We believe in the empowering impact of book ownership. We gift books to children with few of their own, widening reading communities & helping all to dream.
