Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

Inspired by my sister last year, I entered the ballot for the London Marathon….assuming I was pretty safe, given how hard it is to get a place….turns out I was one of the ‘lucky’ ones. After training since the start of the year it’s time to make the pain worthwhile and raise my money for some fantastic causes. With the distances starting to get serious I also need inspiration to keep going!

I’ve chosen 2 fantastic charities - Daisy’s Dream and Cancer Research UK. As well as claiming some of my dearest and dearest cancer is the current reality for so many, including some great friends which is why I’m fundraising for Cancer Research, UK. I would also like to raise much needed funds for Daisy’s Dream - a local charity who support children and young people through bereavement.
