Dear friends ❤️

Im no natural runner and do not find it easy but I enjoy putting my trainers on and getting in the zone with my tunes outdoors in nature.

After being diagnosed at the age of 40 with osteoarthritis in my hips,my dreams were shattered of ever running again and then I was given a new lease of life with two new hips and slowly I have got stronger.

However after years of entering the ballot for the London Marathon I finally got a YES !!!

Its a privalage for me to be able to walk , let alone run the London Marathon and for me to achieve this would be a dream come true.

I know some people think im mad but ive always been told growth happens outside the comfort zone and I dont do comfortable for too long.

Ive always wanted to give back to Saint Francis Hospice where they cared for Bub my brave Mum-in- law and the boys Nan that sadly they never got to meet and my brave Grandad Bernie at the end of their battles with Cancer.

And also the British Heart Foundation where they continue to do amazing research to help others that have heart problems like my Dad Michael who is my hero and Ged’s beautiful Mum Sandra that has recently been taken far too soon .

I know with these four special people in my mind , that have touched my life I will train as hard as I can and make every mile count and I want to thank you in advance for donating and helping me in raising as much money as I can for these amazing charities that are close to my heart.
