Story
Please help us raise funds to support our activities and volunteer training programme and this years charities chosen by the Rotary club:
Pure Insight and Rise Against Hunger.
Congleton Amateur Swimming Club was founded in 1937 at the outdoor pool in Congleton. In 1971, it moved into the newly-built Congleton Leisure Centre where it has been operating ever since, (apart from 2 years at Sandbach whilst the centre was being re-developed).
We want to give children in the town and surrounding areas the opportunity to learn to swim so that they are safer and happy in the water.
Our club is a non-competitive club for everyone over the age of seven years, which normally meets at Congleton Leisure Centre, Worrall Street, from 7pm to 8:30pm every Monday evening in term-time.
7pm junior beginners and stroke improvement
7:45pm under 18s stamina training and challenges.
