Carol's family and close friends are taking part in various sporting events to raise vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis which was a charity very close to her heart.

Exercise, especially running, was one of Carol's many passions, and in the last few weeks of her amazing life she took part in the Brighton marathon weekend, and just days before her passing, she ran the Parkrun with her son Nick in Southsea.

These events will help us to celebrate the life of the most caring and wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Nana and Friend just over a year from her sad and sudden passing.

Katie Reed was one of Carol's students at St Anthony's School, Chichester, seriously ill with Cystic Fibrosis. Now in her 40's, Katie has just received a new set of lungs and is now enjoying a near normal life for the very first time.
