Story
Many of you may remember John and Mary Moulton took on a challenge of a lifetime for a very important cause; Childrens Hospice Southwest, in the summer of 2019. They cycled from St Austell to Bristol in three days and raised a massive total thanks to all their lovely friends, family, neighbours, customers and more. On their last day they were suprised by members of their bike club who rode a section with them and in response they gained another couple of ’mad cyclists’. The pandemic has affected this uptake for the event this year, and now only pub owner and chef Alex is joining the Moultons. Covid also prevented the ride from going ahead in 2020 but has finally been rescheduled for this July. The team are now readily training for this years event and keen to raise some money for a very good cause. The global pandemic has affected all of us in one way or another, and the team appreciate any generosity, in whatever amount.
‘If you have reached this page, we are extremely grateful for your time and generosity. We know our efforts for this incredible cause will be beneficial, and we all genuinely appreciate your donation.‘

30 years of creating memories to cherish
2021 is a very special year for Childrens Hospice South West, as we mark 30 years since we were founded by Eddie and Jill Farwell in 1991.
Since then, thousands of families with a seriously ill child have been welcomed through our hospice doors as part of their journey, finding a safe haven of care, support and friendship.
Lets celebrate this wonderful milestone together, and all that you have helped us achieve!
Remember that together, we can continue to create more memories to be cherished for another 30 years.
