Raising money for Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends and Swaziland Schools Projects

Story

Brian Guy Woodrow passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday 16th July whilst on holiday in Norfolk with his family. Beloved husband of Sally, much loved father of James, Nicholas and Jeremy and adored grandpa of Laura, Harry, Emma, Tom, Jeremy, Annie, Jake and William. He will be sadly missed by us all.

Brian leaves a huge legacy as he worked tirelessly for the community of Bedford being involved with around 15 different charities.

If you would like to make a donation in Brian's memory, we have chosen 3 of the charities that he worked with: Bedford Hospitals Charity and Friends, Swaziland Schools Project and St Paul's Church, Bedford.

You can donate to Bedford Hospitals Charity and Swaziland Schools Project by clicking on the Donate to a Team Member button. Please check you are donating to your preferred charity when you click through as it is not super clear which Team is which until you click through!

1) Bedford Hospitals Charity and Friends - his most significant contribution was establishing and running the Bedford Hospitals Charity that over his leadership raised in excess of £10m for the hospital and helped create the Primrose Cancer Centre.

2) Swaziland Schools Project - Brian has been involved in the Swaziland Schools project for a number of years. The charity funds school fees and building projects to improve the lives of Swazi children

3) St Paul's Church, Bedford - unfortunately the church are not on JustGiving but we will be sharing the collection after the service with the church
