Story
On the 16th October in a game against Monmouth RFC U13s our Fullback Dylan Morgan suffered a blow to the head. After initial checks, it became clear that this was not a straightforward injury and Dylan's condition quickly deteriorated, resulting in him requiring the assistance of the Welsh Air Ambulance. Dylan was rushed to the Heath hospital in Cardiff and received life saving brain surgery which uncovered an underlying problem called Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) which is a tangling of blood vessels restricting the flow of blood.
Dylan is currently still in hospital and receiving amazing care at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital in Cardiff, where he is making brilliant progress in his recovery.
As a club, we were desperate to show our huge appreciation for the treatment that Dylan received pitchside as well as with his continued recovery. We hope you will support us on our Warrior Walk where we will be walking from Rhymney RFC via Bargoed RFC and finishing at Newbridge RFC whilst also visiting various rugby clubs along that route in order to raise as much money as we possibly can.
Thank you. Diolch yn fawr.
