Story

Hi

My name is Sarah and my husband Jude and I will be taking part in the Peak District Ultra Challenge in memory of our son Cairo. We are raising vital funds for the charity Papyrus.

Cairo was a huge fan of Legend of Zelda in particular the game ‘Breath of the Wild’ hence our team name ‘Breadth of the Wild’.

Our world came crashing down on 15th April 2021 when our son took his own life a few weeks after his 17th Birthday.

I wish for no other parent to go through the pain and suffering that we have been through and hope by raising vital funds for Papyrus will prevent another young life from being lost to suicide.
