No one should be homeless and alone in winter. Or ever for that matter. Which is why we’re facing the freeze and joining in the Icebreaker Challenge to help Crisis end homelessness. We’ll be donning a selection of festive finery and swimming not one, not two, but THREE Icebreaker Challenges, starting at Brockwell Lido (11 December), then moving to Tooting Lido (15 January) and ending at Parliament Hill Lido (22 January). UPDATE #1: 11.12.21 One down, two to go! The Brass Monkeys (Andrea, Leigh, Livi and Fi) successfully conquered the cold (6 degrees) at Brockwell Lido today! Bring it on 💪🏼

UPDATE #2: 15.1.22 Two down, one more Icebreaker Challenge left! The Brass Monkeys (just Andrea and Fi this time - Leigh and Livi, we missed you) donned our most tropical attire and threw ourselves into THREE-DEGREES water at Tooting Bec Lido - and survived to tell the tale! Parliament Hill, here we come 🥳💙

UPDATE #3: 22.1.22 Well we've only gone and done it! Three Icebreaker Challenges done and dusted! The Brass Monkeys (Leigh, Livi and Fi - sadly no Andrea as she was self-isolating 😷 Get better sooooon, Andrea!) headed Up North to Parliament Hill Lido for the final plunge. Four degrees in the water and the most beautiful steel bottom (why, thank you) - what a fab pool to end with! Thank you to everyone for their donations - we really do appreciate it!
