Story
Our names are Billy, Isaac and Oscar and we are raising money for CRUK and Street Child in Memory of our Mum/Wife Kate who was diagnosed with late stage colon cancer and despite the best efforts of wonderful doctors and after a lot of treatment died on Christmas morning 2014.
1 in 2 of us will get cancer, but if picked up earlier then the chances of survival are ten times better.
CRUK supports the best researchers in the world to help find ways to diagnosis cancer sooner and save lives.
Kate was the founding chief executive of the Africa Governance Initiative (AGI) which worked to provide practical advice and support to rebuild structures of government in post-conflict African states. Just before she died she wanted us to help raise money for the wonderful efforts of Street Child who opened a school in Sierra Leone named after Kate. Street Child has helped on 1 million children all around the world.
