WNPF's Board of Directors and Friends will work together in the summer of 2023 to summit Mount Shuksan (Fisher Chimneys) to raise funds for North Cascades National Park.
Washington's National Park Fund's program Climb for a Cause gives the opportunity for individuals to come together to raise funds for priority projects in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
More than $100,000 is raised annually through Climb for a Cause, thanks to dedicated climbers from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Gensler, as well as the local community. These funds benefit priority park projects like search and rescue programs, the restoration of fishers, tribal youth develop a native conservation coprs program, the terminus glacier memorial project, and so much more!
