Story

Mike and Nathaniel will be running the Run to Anfield 5k.

Follow in the footsteps of our footballing heroes at this unique event. The 5K run features a scenic circuit around Stanley Park, raising funds for vital LFC Foundation Health and Wellbeing Programmes.

LFC foundation support a number of causes however the closest to our heart most recently has been their work in collaboration with the Honeysuckle bereavement team at Liverpool Women's hospital. After our baby was born sleeping in February, following a diagnosis of Patau's Syndrome, we were encouraged to get involved with events hosted by LFC Foundation and the Honeysuckle team such as their female walking groups and their mens Honeysuckle FC sessions. These are valuable events providing much needed support to those impacted by baby loss. Myself alongside Nathaniel are taking this opportunity to give something back to the foundation, whilst also being able to have fun running to the home of our football club.
