Story
We are two adventurous young people, Alyssa is a 10 year old Cub Scout and Benji a 12 year old Scout.
We like to take on a challenge each year to raise money for charities... previously raising money doing adventurous challenges for charities who have assisted people in their time of need... these people who have had support from charities, have in turn helped us both at school with additional support for our additional needs and we are grateful for this!
*** We completed one part of this challenge last year but owing to daddy having a bad accident we have had to delay the other two challenges and will be competing these in 2024 ***
For the last 2 of our 3 challenges we are taking on an ENORMOUS challenge to raise money for 2 very special causes that are close to our hearts!
(Please be sure to click the correct link below for each of the remaining two challenges and their specific charity - clicking on the donate button will tell you on the following page which one you are on - or copy and paste the links below into your browser)
But what is a triple Welsh challenge?
We both aim to hike, sail, climb, navigate and paddle our way to success this summer with 3 major challenges to keep us super busy!
1. Climb and abseil the height of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) on a climbing wall (1085 m).
2. Paddle and sail the perimeter distance of Anglesey (140 miles).
3. Complete the Welsh 3 Peaks - Pen Y Fan (886 m), Cadair Idris (893m) and Yr Wyddfa (1085m).
For the climbing challenge, Alyssa has chosen to support The Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge to raise money for the hospital who has given care, treatment and surgery to their mum for a heart condition. Papworth's link is here:

For the paddle challenge, Benji has chosen to support Mountain Rescue England and Wales, in specific Ogwen valley in Snowdonia. This is a volunteer charity which keeps people safe and rescues people in his favourite place... Snowdonia! Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue's link is here:
