Story

Dan is loving his time cycling on his accessible Duet bike at the moment so we have decided to take part in cycle4sepsis in memory of Sam Walker who died age 28 from sepsis in March 2019 #bemoresam

Cycle4Sepsis is back for its 8th year and we are supporting them in their mission to raise awareness about sepsis across the country.

To mark World Sepsis Day on 13th September, we will be cycling between: 1st July & the 30th September.

Every year in the UK, sepsis kills at least 48,000 people, with better awareness thousands of these lives could be saved. Thank you for your help!

Your support and donations will make the difference!

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
