Story

I'm running the TCS London Marathon 2024 as part of #TeamBowelCancer. I've been waiting to get into the London Marathon since 2012 when I first started running, and I'm so excited to be able to run it whilst raising money for such a worthy cause!

To support my fundraising efforts, my sister (Maggie) and boyfriend (James) are also taking on some challenges of their own.

Maggie is doing a wild swim every day in January - aiming to be swimming for a minute per degree the water is (so 5 degree water, means a 5 minute swim!). She's been battling storms, and incredibly thick ice to get this challenge complete.

Two weeks after the London Marathon, James is running the Thames Path 100 miles ultramarathon! The race takes him along the River Thames, starting in Richmond and finishing in Oxford - he's aiming to complete the event in under 24 hours!

Bowel Cancer UK are the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. They're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Your support will help stop people dying of bowel cancer by funding vital services and lifesaving research.
