BD are proud to be a long-term supporter of the UK Sepsis Trust. Cycle4Sepsis is back for it’s 8th year, and BD is supporting them in their mission to raise awareness about sepsis across the country, through a company-wide business effort as Team BD. Associates have been signing up to take part over the summer and are dusting off their bikes with personal distance goals set for the month, in celebration of World Sepsis Day on September 13th.

Every year in the UK, sepsis kills at least 48,000 people but with better awareness thousands of these lives could be saved. The awareness, education and support championed by the UK Sepsis Trust is high quality and far reaching and here at BD we believe it is raising the bar in setting standards for disease prevention and the management of life-threatening conditions.
