With the ongoing conflict in Yemen already one of the poorest countries in the region over 20 million people don't know where their next meal will come from. A country crippled by conflict is sadly now on the brink of famine.

Story

A country riddled with conflict is sadly on the brink of extinction.

With 80% of the population of Yemen in need of humanitarian assistance and protection, and COVID-19 now spreading rapidly, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency.

At BAS, we are raising money to help communities in Yemen who are desperate for basic health-care, water and sanitation facilities and food.

For a month, not only are we raising funds but we decided to add a challenge, we are running/walking/cycling 1000km as a society to raise £1000 that will go directly to the charity Islamic Relief, which will provide essential aid to families at high risk in Yemen.

Anyone can join us on our summer challenge, all you have to do is click the link in our bio on Instagram (britasiansocmcr) and join the team!

Anything that you donate will help enormously to the terrible crisis currently occurring in Yemen.

Donate, and share the message now and let’s help save lives together!
