This year as our Team Building Day for our Group Legal Team, we have decided to participate in the Loros Hospice “Rocket Around Leicester” Challenge and try to raise some money for this fantastic Leicester hospice, and take the opportunity to try and meet up in person after so long apart! We are planning to do this on 14 September 2021.

We have team members coming from the North, the South, the West and around the Midlands to visit as many rockets as we can around the Leicester area in 3 hours using our maps. We are obviously attempting to reach every single one of them! (There are 40 in total).

We promise to take photos along the way and provide an update afterwards and with YOUR SUPPORT this really will be a momentous team event, especially so as we do indeed want to raise crucial funds for the hospice and congratulate them for the tremendous work that they do.

Many of us have known people dear to us who have used the support and facilities of Loros and other fantastic hospices like them, so it is something very close to our hearts.

A bit of information about Loros:

We deliver care that is special and unique to each individual.
Patients and their families are at the heart of everything we do.
We are about life and living. Its about making people comfortable and being there to help and support them and their family. We help people living with a terminal illness make the most of the time they have left.
It costs us £8.2 million each year to be able to deliver our services. The NHS does give us some money, but we still need to raise at least £6 million each year from our local community. Were very proud that 90p of every £1 received goes towards patient care.
The continued impact of COVID-19 and a second national lockdown is devastating, and we are facing a £2.3 million loss in raised income across the year. We need your support now, more than ever.
