BAM Ritchies are coming together to make a difference (because we love a good challenge!). On the 25th of April and 3rd of May our team members will walk, run and/or cycle depending on everyone's personal strengths and preferences. This will be a 10-hour event, held at two different locations (Dartmoor on the 25th and Kilsyth on the 3rd) and we will aim to cover as many miles in that time as we physically can.

We are doing this to support the Lighthouse Club charity, which is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.

Annually construction industry sees over 2,000 major accidents that incapacitate the worker in such a way they cannot return to work. Over 400 construction workers commit suicide every year. Stress, depression and anxiety accounts for a fifth of all work related illness.
