Event: St Wilfrid's Hospice - Moonlight Walk Week 2022, on 10 September 2022
Your Hospice Moonlight Walk Week returns! This year your Moonlight Walk Week will be 3rd -10th September 2022 with two special ways to take part on a sponsored 5 or 10-mile walk to remember.

Story

My lovely dad sadly passed away on Sunday.

His last few days were so much easier than they could have been, thanks to the wonderful Hospice at Home Team at St Wilfrid’s.

They took away his pain, they made him comfortable and they supported us so we could spend precious time focusing on dad the person.

They built him a hospital bed in our conservatory where he could see the garden he loved and be among his family.

And they lifted our spirits – and dad’s – even in those dark times, with their professional, loving manner.

Now we want to try and repay them for their kindness.

On Saturday we are joining the Moonlight Walk in Chichester in memory of dad and to raise money for St Wilfrid's.

My sister Julie and our partners Tim and Paul will be joining us. Hopefully others will be there too.

We know that times are hard and there are many other worthwhile causes, but if you can spare anything, St Wilfrid’s would be very grateful. That way they can continue to help people at one of the hardest times of their lives.

Much love Lynne
