I am overjoyed to be back home after an incredible three-week journey at UCLH, where I received CAR-T immunotherapy in August 2024. This groundbreaking treatment has filled me with hope, and I am deeply thankful for the exceptional care provided by a team of highly skilled and compassionate medical professionals.

This Sunday, I will be joined by my family for the annual London Bridgathon, an 8-mile walk along the River Thames that takes us across six beautiful bridges. We are walking to raise funds for Haematology Cancer Care at UCLH. While I hope to be strong enough to complete the walk, I know my family will carry on, even if I’m still recovering just a week after my hospital stay.
