Story
This year my sisters and I want to do as much as we can to raise awareness and money for Mesothelioma. Unfortunately this illness took our dearest dad away from us in September 2020.
Dad had pleural mesothelioma which came about from being exposed to asbestos in his workplace back in the 1970's. It laid dormant in his lungs until 2018 when he then began to have symptoms.
Pleural Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that affects the mesothelium. The mesothelium is a thin membrane that lines the inner surface of the chest wall, where it is known as the pleura.
We are taking part in #FitnessFebruary4Meso. We want to run 40k in February. Please help us raise funds for such an amazing cause. Don't forget to Gift Aid your donations so that the charity can get an extra 25% at no cost to you!
