Story

We are a Group of walkers from ASC walking section hoping to raise some money for the childrens hospice at Charlton Farm, Wraxhall. On 7th June we are travelling up to Scotland and will commence the challenge on the following day to climb the highest peaks of Scotland (Ben Nevis) England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24hrs.
A big thank you to everybody who has donated and helped us to raise money for the hospice. It is much appreciated and spurring us on to achieve our goal. The trip up yesterday although long was trouble free and we were met with glorious weather on arrival at the Bridge of Orchy. The weather overall however is not being kind to us and tomorrow morning at Scafell Pike looks vile with very poor visibility due to fog. Ben Nevis although not great during the day is forecast to clear by the time we start which will be around 5pm today. We are planning to be up and down the Ben in 5 hours so wish us luck.
Thank you once again to everybody who donated and helped us raise money for the childrens hospice. Travelling home now after another gruelling 24hrs climbing the three peaks. The team managed to complete the challenge in under 24 hours and with the horrendous weather on both Scafell Pike and Snowdon it was a tremendous effort. They are all now proudly wearing their three peaks medals which can be seen in the photo.
