Story
Who are we?
We are a group of 17 year old students, who feel that we need to do more for the children being starved, and killed as an unnecessary effect of war. We are all creatives in some form and so we have also decided to use this fundraiser as a way to highlight local community, and local artists - ranging from year 9 'fledgling' artists, to well established professionals.
What are we doing?
We ran a pop-up sale at the Bolthole in Ironbrudge, and now are accepting donations until the end of the year
Why are we fundraising for Save the Children?
In Gaza, children are facing the devastating effects of starvation and disease at an alarming rate. Simultaneously, the war in Ukraine has forced a child to become a refugee nearly every second. Additionally, children in East Africa are teetering on the edge of one of the most severe famines in four decades.
The Save the Children's Emergency Fund is a beacon of hope in these dire situations, providing immediate assistance to those affected by disasters worldwide. Your support is urgently needed to make a difference. By contributing to our fundraiser for the Emergency Fund, you can help provide life-saving essentials such as food, water, and crucial mental health support to children and families impacted by the conflict in Gaza and other global disasters.
